Io shook her head as the small ball of grey, white and black fur wiggled about in the sling that was tied around her. Why did it have to be one of the boys that lived... She again glanced down to her son, 'Hej Sarajewie'. The small pup stirred, moving closer to his mothers body. Io, one hand snaked around the sling, the other reaching into the sling and comforting the pup, sighed, looking out to sea. 'Co dalej?'. The waves rolled and licked the sand before rolling back out. There was a sudden noise and the parti-coloured femme whirred round and grabbed the knife strapped to her calves. 'Who is there!' her accented voice rang throughout the beach. The male at the chest crawled closer but Io kept her gaze to the horizon. She wasn't stupid. Young maybe. But as a parent you become ever so protective, even if you have little to fear. Her gazed found her son again for a second before returning to the hunt. The breeze danced while the silence lingered. Grey eyes searched the horizon, white hands brushed the platinum grey locks away and pink nose twitched in vain, the wind was not blowing in her favour. Curse the Gods! she thought, getting anxious. She gripped her knifes harder. Her weapons weren't anything special, but they would do enough damage for the pair to escape. This was one of the few times the Polish girl wished Iven was around. The idiot just had to get himself killed.
