The scent and sound of the man as she approached him prepared her for another strange encounter, although surely her meeting with this man would not go exactly as the one with Saluce had. The man, even from a distance, differed from either Gideon or Saluce, the only Dahlians she knew aside from Nayru herself. Where they were dark, he sported a rich warm coat. And while their eyes were more conventional his were a lavender, shades lighter than her own but of the same basic color. She had never encountered such a creature that shared her eye color and for some unexplainable reason this endeared him to her.
The distance between them closed and again the differences between he and Saluce were clear. Where Saluce lack the memory to know if she was or wasn't supposed to be here, it was clear this man knew. His question, who was she, wasn't just looking for a name. She knew this. Dipping her head, as those in packs seemed to love to do with higher ranked wolves, the girl scratched at the snow with one idle paw, keeping her weight upon the other as she stood erect. "Hello… My name is Farore," she paused, knowing that her excuse for staying in Dahlia de Mai was a valid one, even if she had not asked the proper permission from the alpha, whoever he or she may be. "Nayru is my sister. I have been staying with her." She lifted her eyes to meet his, her own head tilting then, as if to question, "is that enough?"
