OOC:Been a long time coming ^^

It had been quite an uneventful day that day as Revan walked along on one of his daily hikes. This morning he had decided to try and locate some type of bag that he could use to carry objects in. It was the first time he had ever set out to purposefully collect something and it kind of felt great to have a goal set for the day besides just going on his daily hikes and setting the distance further and further. More often that not these days he wondered what his place was going to be in the pack. He had learned a lot from Kesho the last time he had met him and the training had gotten him quite excited about the possibility of becoming a scout, but would he ever be able to prove himself worthy of climbing the ranks and living among the elite of Inferni?

Of course he knew that it would take a lot of hard work and determination to even label himself a scout. Sure he had received some training from Kesho, learned a lot about the workings of Inferni, but how was he going to prove himself? He wondered if intruders made a habit of trying to invade Inferni's borders, but of course if that was the issue there would be a lot more scouts patrolling the borders, wouldn't there? Maybe that's why he was sent here by fate, to help his pack fight off the invaders that were planning to violate his home, his family outside of his birth family, but he would have to wait and see for that to happen. One thing was for sure, if the time did come, Revan would be the first one charging.

His thoughts were interrupted suddenly as an alien scent suddenly invaded his nose, though it possessed the tell tale signals that labeled the stranger as a pack member. The scent belonged to a male, but he could also distinctly pick up a faint scent of a female as well mixed in. A quick glance around his surroundings alerted him to a small pup loping purposefully though obliviously along and he smiled. It was only obvious that the female's scent belonged to the pup's mother, but the scent was faint so he assumed the pup's mother wasn't around, letting the pup have free reign of the pack lands. This was a perfect opportunity to put his new sneak skills to the test and it would all be in good fun for both the pup and the pup at heart Jackal. Revan crouched low and hid behind a bush, body only inches from the ground, his paws kneading the ground as he remembered the words that Kesho had spoken that day.

Move with the earth, not against it... This was going to be fun, though he hoped the pup wouldn't get too freaked out by his actions, but he didn't worry too much. After all, Rose had seemed to love their sneaking games when they were pups.
