Geneva did not like the way the black male seemed fixated on her new pack member. Although Jace Wolfe's personality differed greatly from the nature of the other wolfdog who had fallen under her care, the female still reminded Geneva of Bindu. The young girl had been severely injured and had wandered into Phoenix Valley, alone and confused. Her healing process had stretched on into weeks; despite the fact that Bindu Epals had eventually decided to depart, Geneva still harbored much affection for the wolfdog girl. And found that she felt surprisingly protective of Jace, a creature she hardly knew.

When Lucifer propositioned her, she could do nothing but up the wattage of her 'smile.' It was a predatory expression, a baring of stark, white sharp teeth, as brilliant and empty of meaning as a light bulb. Her voice had a hard edge to it as she addressed him with disdain. "An offer I wouldn't consider, even if you had the means of delivering." It was obvious to her that Lucifer did not care about her authority or distaste for him. His ego might be his weak spot, but the best way to communicate herself to him was obviously in primal language, through the use of brute force. It was clear that he did not respect the gentler gender, but he might respect bare brawn as it beat the insolence right out of him.

Before Geneva could ask for Ty to intervene, Jefferson appeared, obviously with savagery on his mind. She backed up cautiously, moving closer to stand with Jace and Ookami. She partially shielded Jace, using her slight body to stand by her side, but a bit in front of her, closer to both Lucifer and Jefferson. She trusted Ty to jump into the fray if he was needed, or to defend her if it came down to it. However, with Jefferson's murderous intent clear, she felt both a thrill of terror and a surge of faith in him. Despite his recent injury, she knew that he was still strong, perhaps the strongest creature she had ever encountered, at least in her eyes.
