He didn't say anything, why wasn't he saying anything? She whimpered silently in her throat, a small piece of her that would never be heard by the world. She kept on shuddering with her fear of his rejection, she had realize what it was and knew that it was right. What would her friend say? She didn't know, so she waited. If it hadn't been for his scent filling her nose then she could almost believe he had just left for she heard no sound from him.

At his quiet whispered 'yes' her ear turned towards him and the sounds of his approach met her audits. She twisted around underneath her the log as he laid down and invaded the den with his head although it was not unwelcome. There was a strange wriggling inside her chest as he came closer now there was a spark in his eye and she knew his answer before he even spoke it, a smile grew upon her muzzle and bloomed full like a flower opening for the first time.

She followed him out of the den, not letting his muzzle hain more than a few inches distance from hers. Both quietness and excitement filled her, making her tail switch between beating madly against the floor and curling up tightly to her paws like a cat 's would, her fur had puffed itself up until she resembled a breathing living ball of fur with a head and tail.

She moved closer to him and then stared with wide eyes, unknowing what to do now although the only thing the more animal part of her brain was telling her, she wasn't sure he would want to do straight away but her body reacted for her, throwing out the scents and signs that would call to him that she was accepting.... and ready. Her tail still beat its strange drum roll against the floor in its battle between the urge to run and the urge to be still.
