The white, snowy world around him now forgotten as his eyes were focused on Jace. His tail twitched and his ears randomly rotated as the lump in his throat grew. She had followed him out of her den and now sat close and he was nervous. This was new territory, an area that he had never been before. He did not know what to do or say.
As they sat and stared at each other, he started to see her differently. The change he saw was subtle and he did not know what it was. For some reason that he could not fathom, her thrumming tail seemed to catch his interest now.
Her scent slowly changed as his nose sucked in air with each breath. Something was happening to him that he had not experienced before. His stomach felt like there were butterflies in it and his manhood seemed to swell a little. His body quivered, at war with itself. He didn't know what to do and her closeness was driving him crazy. He didn't realize that he had slowly leaned closer to Jace, his nose almost touching her nose as he took in her scent.
