His twitching tail and randomly rotating ears amused her somewhat, betraying his nervousness and a sly smile crossed her lips. She was not nervous now, there was no room for it within the fiercely swelling ocean of emotions running wild through her. She knew this feeling though, something she had experienced once before so long ago that it was almost forgotten deep down in her memory. As she watched, his nostrils flared and his pupils expanded rapidly, she could literally see the hormones working, her body emitted more of the scent that had him so interested.
He was quivering now, leaning towards her unconsciously and she copied his movements. She moved closer to him and their noses touched, cold wet skin against cold wet skin and she preened under the jolt of electricity that sparked through her. Her heart was beating in her ears rapidly, the blood rushing and she wasn't sure if she could hear his as well. It pooled in her cheeks flushing the skin that was visible through her white fur along with the rapidly fading bruise on her face.
She realized that she wouldn't do anything on his own, he was too nervous and too.. too? too scared? No, he wasn't scared or he didn't look scared, maybe just nervous then. The black wolf was holding himself rigid other than his small quivering motions. She grinned more and her tongue darted out and she licked his nose. Her ripped ear dropped down to the side and she tilted her head to the side slightly. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath in, inhaling the scent that had been a great comfort to her for the past year and a half. Reopening her eyes she stared into his black eyes knowing that he would never take it as a challenge, they knew each other too well.
