Now Theres No Holding Back

She lacked life. Emotions seemed to stay away from her voice and her face. It wasn't really a question, he could tell that much, but she phrased it as one. The wolfdog tilted his head to the side, green eyes staring absently at the red female while she finally turned his way. Red, white. Red, white. Long hair, small body. Questions. Who was he. His jaw tensed, head tipping upwards to stare down at the female from his nose. "I don't think names matter much." The words were stony, but not without feeling, as hers had been. The beast stepped closer to the pond, his attention falling away from the stranger.

"Enjoying the view?"

"No. You're ugly."

There was no attempt to hide what he believed, and no attempt to offer false comfort for a body that was clearly unhealthy. The male wasn't one to give sarcastic praise. He was to the point, he was blunt. He glanced her way briefly. "What are you doing by yourself. It's not safe for someone like you." Weak. Someone clearly on the losing end of any battles she might encounter. Thinness was only useful if there was someone else to protect the wearer; in her case, there seemed to be no one. Luckily, he wasn't a danger.
