Yay, no wait this time!
It was amazing to think how far the pair had come since that first night they had spent together. What had started out as an unexpected dalliance had turned into so much more. She had moved here for him, they were mates, and now they had children together. Had their own little family. Haven certainly could not have guessed that all of this would have come form that drunken flirtation, but he knew he would not have wished it any other way. He loved Princess with all he had, just as he loved the three little bundles of joy they had brought into existence.
It was too bad that Princess was still tired, but he was at least heartened to hear that her sleep had not been troubled. Tired or not, she was always beautiful to him. He smiled lovingly at her as she settled herself on the floor and looked at their two wrestling children. They seemed oblivious to their mother's presence, but Felicity was not and eagerly walked over towards her mother with her stubby tail wagging. A chill ran down Haven's spine at the light touch to his thigh. A large hand reached out to take her smaller one, squeezing her fingers gently. "Couldn't be better," his deep voice spoke in warm tones. Truly, he could ask for nothing more than what he had in this room right here.
