Bangle took out a dark bottle with some sort of liquid in it, which he quickly guzzled down. Ezra nodded to the toast, and when it was offered to him, the boy took the bottle happily. “To freedom!” he said, reiterating Bangle’s toast. The bottle was held clumsily in the secui’s paws, but he got it eventually. Ezra took a gulp of the foreign drink, and forced it down despite the highly unpleasant taste in his mouth. Face still contorted in unhappiness, Ezra turned to the man beside him and shoved the bottle back. “Ugh... What is that?” the hybrid asked, confused beyond belief. Nothing he had ever tasted was that foul.
