Element had been trying and trying to get to Dahlia de Mai - but something always seemed to block him. The first time, almost right after the snowstorm, he had been trying to travel there, he had run into an old friend, Alder. They had talked for a while, and he learned that Alder was no longer of Crimson Dreams, but of Cour des Miracles instead. Then he had taken time to teach the boy Low speech, which the boy liked; he was always eager to learn, something that endeared to Element.
The next time had been worse; he had run into Halo and Sepirah Lykoi; two coyotes of Inferni, two very different individuals. One had been the murderer of his love and his life, Flower, and the other had been his savior from the monster. After the incident, he had kept to himself for the most part, mostly out of the shock and anger that had festered in his heart since the incident. Then he had met a man named J'adore, who had, for the most part, shaken him up enough to awaken him a bit. Now he was ready to try for the third time to travel to Dahlia de Mai and see how his friend Conor was doing after the vicious storm that had almost ruined his home.
He stopped at the borders; he remembered when he met a puppy here, Nayru, who had escorted him back to the edges of the territory after he intruded. He didn't want to make the same mistake again, although the circumstances were different; as he was a cat, he didn't know how to call out for a pack member, either. Hesitantly, he called out - "Mrrow?"
