Hope you don't mind me joining, Siku has yet to meet a cat!

Patrolling the borders was the job of the Spaher, and that was the rank Siku had been promoted to in her time within Dahlia. The alabaster she-wolf had never expected such a thing; but suspected her subordinate rank was promoted because of her help in saving the pup named Range. After recovering from the horrible snowstorm, Siku was more than eager to take up the responsibility of being a pack member. Luckily, the pale faced woman had explored the borders and areas of Dahlia extensively upon being accepted to the pack. She certainly appreciated her curious nature when she first began to patrol. It was strange, having a territory to watch over, but also very uplifting for the wolf. She belonged! She had something to protect. And Siku did so with enthusiasm.

Getting the feel of the border at first by running along it nightly, Siku spent the day as she would any other lately. Running, and looking around. Exploring with curious eyes, at the same time searching for other life with an alert gaze. No one would wander into the borders without her knowing! The thought brought her back to the night she stumbled upon Dahlia, and Siku smiled at the thought. The woman was discovered by the handsome young wolf that was Saul. He was the Spaher at the time, and had risen in rank since. Of course. He was good at everything it seemed, and Siku's eyes could have become big golden hearts as she began to slow to a trot. Her mind wandering again. A two way crush had developed without her realizing, but it wasn't long before she would figure it out. Their connection seemed to grow and intensify with each encounter.

Though her thoughts had run amok, Siku hadn't lost track and sped up her pace again as she traced a strange scent. It was not wolf, it was not anything she could recognize. A potential threat. Heart beat speeding up, Siku pounced through the snow with determination and curiosity. It wasn't far, she could tell, and golden eyes became nearly as wide as dinner plates as they settled on a black figure. Struggling to maintain a calm, the wolf froze and stared. Simply stared. What a peculiar creature! A cat! Siku had heard of, read of, and knew of the creature named so. Yet she hadn't expected them to seem so.. intense. The green eyes she immediately noticed sent a light shiver down her spine. The stranger was a soul, an intelligent being that clearly had a mind to rival her own. Not for eating. Friend or Foe, though? Siku was not sure how to react to the stranger. She unconsciously attempted to appear dominant, after all it was her pack's territory and it had to be taken care of. To do so she had to convey control of the situation. He was the one who owed explanation.

"Hello.. My name is Siku. This is Dahlian territory you are bordering on. May I ask what you are doing here?" She spoke with a gentle voice, the friendly tone contradicting her dominant stance as she stared at the smaller figure curiously. Her pointed ears flattened as she waited for an answer.
