D: oh well, they can still hang out

Nickolas was quite happy to see the sisters had gotten past that little problem; it really did his heart bad to see siblings fighting. With that out of the way he let them both run off; just wanting to give them a heads up before he caught up with them. Watching as they ran off into the distance; chuckling to himself at how cute and innocent they were. His ears were perked up again and his bushy tail wagging a little; excited because it had been so long since he had played tag with anyone. But he started to wonder if he should actually start counting out until he went after them. He yawned just a little and stretched out his arms, fur rustling a little as he felt the wind kick up just a little. Letting a few minutes passed he had lost sight of the two, knowing that now was perhaps the best time to go after them. With that he started off in a light jog, paws brushing against the dirt and rocky trail in the general direction the sisters had went off too. He easily had their scents in his nostrils and finding them was not that hard, and to think he was not even a professional tracker.

Then he spotted Ayasha and he smiled a little, but then he took notice that Saphrina had just sort of vanished out of nowhere. His ears and tail instantly drooped from the sudden rush of sadness that one of his new pup friends had just left. All the fun and excitement that had been swelling up in his chest had somewhat vanished just as quickly as she had. He looked to Ayasha; just wondering what had happened to her sister out of the sudden. He sighed a little and walked over to her, hoping that nothing had happened to Saphrina again. “Ayasha, what happened to your sister?” he asked in a dull and sadder tone of voice that he had not used in quite some time. And here he thought that they were all going to play tag, it would have been like the times that he and his sisters had used to play when they were all pups. Without any other questions he bent down a little and gently picked Ayasha up in his arms. She was so tiny that he could have sworn that she weighed nothing at all.

He held her close and felt her white fur brush against his, looking around for Saphrina and trying to think of what they would do next. If she was out of the picture for the moment; there was no real reason that they could not still hand out. He supported her in both of his arms; muscles tensing just a little so he would not accidently drop her. “Well, there is no reason we could not hang out. What do you think, little buddy?” he asked in a soft tone of voice as he smiled down at her just a little bit. Sure he was bummed that there was one less wolf to play with; but he knew that he and Ayasha could still have tons of fun hanging out around the pack territory.
