The coyote male had headed out to the Bay, taking his penguins out to allow them to fish. He sat down on the shore, keeping a sharp eye out for his small little birds. He had his knees tucked up to his chest as he watched the small creatures. Not only had they provided him a distraction back in Barbados when he needed it but they had also earned him some interest here as well. The poor little guys didn't seem to enjoy the cold here though. That was an issue that he hadn't considered when transporting them. But they seemed to be doing okay for now though. They were still able to swim and feed at least.
He watched and waited for the little critters to surface but what came up wasn't his birds. No, it was a canine that came dragging themselves out of the water. He had no idea what they were doing in there or how they had gotten there. It was a distance away from where he was, still within the borders of the clans, but he watched as the damp being pulled themselves up out of the water. He gave a sharp bark to his penguins, calling them back to shore as he moved over to investigate.
He slipped past Inferni's borders and approached the female. As he got close he dropped to hands and knees to crawl over to her in order to try to sniff at her water logged behind. She was a mix but the most prominent thing in that mix was wolf. An older wolf than he was. He stood up and looked down at the hybrid. "Where fish?" He questioned in a demanding sort of tone. He expected that she was out there fishing and curious as to why she hadn't brought anything back. Where he grew up and the value he grew up with it was no wonder that he had a prejudice against dominantly wolf mixes.
