Eclise had thought today would be a good day to test her bravery. She’d go even further from her home again, this time in the other direction. After meeting Viking she found things not to be as scary as she thought they were. He was nice, though in a grumpy grandpa sort of way, but she had high hopes that she would see him again. Today she found herself sneaking past the borders and trotting through the Ethereal eclipse, well she just knew them as “The Trees” she played a stick game where she would have to keep touching a stick every time she moved, it was fun, though real easy here as sticks were scattered everywhere. some were hard to find in the newly thin layer of snow, but soon she found herself out in the open, not on the plain flat ground she was use to, though they had hills where she lived, but these were different, they were huge hills, she wondered if anyone made tunnels through them, but she saw none as she came bounding out in the open.
She started smelling a pack and backed off a little, she knew it was a bad idea to go inside one, but she always wondered what it was like to be in another pack, but she would never ever leave her mommy or daddy behind. It was always nice to think a little differently. She found herself running up one of the hills, to be able to see in the distance beyond. Why couldn’t she and her mommy and daddy live here? It didn’t matter, she sat for a second wondering what to do now. She really was quite far from home, but she wasn’t ready to go back yet. This was too much fun, but she knew she didn’t have tons of time, she had to be home before dark right? This made her wonder if she would make it back in time, or if she would get lost in the trees like she did with the other ones.
