There was giggling somewhere near him and the young adult turned his head in the direction of the source of the sound. He peered at the young girl through half lidded eyes and he scowled at her. Silvano was not trying to fly! He knew that his four feet - or two! - belonged on the ground. Or in a tree. Or while he was laying down, but no that's not the point! He knew that he could not fly. "I know," he answered rather harshly, grumbling in his embarrassment. "Of course I know that." he added with a huff as he turned to his side and sat on his haunches, looking at the girl with the puppy lilt.
"I'm not trying to become a super hero. I don't need to." Super heroes ran around and helped people, were magical and had powers that were not real. Like flying, or seeing through walls, or even breaking rocks with nothing but a tap of the fist. He was none of that and he did not really want to be, actually. All that spotlight? What if he messed up? No thanks, no thanks. "Eclipse, huh? Ain't you a bit young to be just.. walkin' around like this?" he asked, rather smugly. He remembered when he was that young and trying to be an adult, running rampant. "Are you sneakin' off?" he said in his teenager inflections, knowing he was sounding older, at least compared to the young girl before him. "I'm Silvano."
