It really wasn't all that surprising that Artemis was upset. Not after everything that had happened. He couldn't imagine what it must be like to sleep for weeks, unable to wake. It would be hard enough to accept the little changes that could happen in that time, but Artemis had awaken to find her brother, her best friend gone. Dead. Cypress felt he could relate on some level though. Alder had also left the pack, though he was only across the rolling expanse of Shiloh Hills. Still Cypress missed him, even if he wouldn't admit to it. He too had yet to even acknowledge his own guilt for Alder's departure. It was perhaps a bit foolish of him to think it was at all similar to Artemis might be feeling.
