Artemis shook her head half-heartedly as he denied her apology; they could stand there for hours going back and forth but it would do no good for either of them.
Warmth spread over her face from the spot where his tongue had brushed her fur and she nodded, soft blue eyes searching his, such a similar color. "We're good," she said, a small smile adorning her features, the expression foreign to the girl as of late.
