Wandering so far away from Crimson Dreams was not something she did often, and coming to the city had brought a fresh wave of anger forward in the young girl's body. It had been this city that she had gone on her last big adventure with Denali to, and it was in this city that they had found that stupid red rubber ball that had ruined her life and made Denali run away. Maybe he would come back soon and they could get rid of that stupid ball together, but for now, she kept it next to her pillow as a constant reminder of everything that had gone wrong recently.
It bothered her so much that everyone claimed that Denali was dead. Supposedly, his murderer had been living in the pack and had fought with her mother, but Artemis knew that the bitch was a liar. Nuki, the bitch, was nothing but a liar. She had not murdered Denali, she had just been trying to cause trouble. Everyone was stupid to believe it as much as they did. It was so obviously not true. They were so gullible and readily gave up on her brother and best friend. She did not know what made her more angry: That they claimed he was dead, or that they so readily accepted the idea that he was dead. He wasn't. He couldn't be dead.
Silver ears twitched at the stranger's words. A small growl started in her throat and Artemis turned sharply, glaring intensely at the red-hued woman. "Chiudere il di fottere su. What the fuck do you want?" Her parents would have been livid to hear her speak this way, but that was part of why she was away from the pack's territory. She simply could not be around her family right now.
