A growl was what greeted her, and the wolf turned to glare at her coyote intruder. Words in a language unknown to the Lykoi passed through silver lips, but it was clear they weren't pleasant. What did Talitha want? That was a very good question indeed that the strange woman brought into the open. "Why would I want anything at all from filth. You creatures ruin everything." No, it wasn't the silver, scarfed woman who personally offended the Lykoi. Being a wolf was a curse she couldn't forgive, though she herself suffered the same fate. It was Gabriel's fault. The wolves that spread into Inferni brought vile disease to two innocents. She had never wanted to be outside of her home. She had never wanted to associate with the likes of wolves. It was Gabriel who brought wolves into her life. Gabriel and his awful, muddled genetics.
It wasn't her fault, of course not.
Dark eyes narrowed still upon the pale body of a stranger. "Screaming curses into the air does nothing to fix problems, little creature. The rest of the world should not be assaulted with your insecurities." Was it cruel? Perhaps. It wasn't, however, her problem. She didn't care what reasons had brought the woman to Halifax, or what sorrows infected her mood. In the moment, Talitha only cared for her own problems. She needed wire, and to forget bastard children she'd never met. Killing them wasn't an option. Ignorance to their existence, however, was. Ezekiel couldn't hate her for apathy.
