He had been back and forth with the whole idea so many times now that he could hardly remember why any of it had mattered. Faolin mattered, and did that compare to the possibility of being thrown from the lands should someone unforgiving confront him? He could hardly imagine the latter occurring, and if it did, it could not possibly be enough of a barrier to keep him from finding his sister. Jesile knew that he would put her before himself in any circumstance as he would do for anyone else in his family, and so the time he had spent pondering the entire ordeal had been wasted. If she wasn't angry with him for leaving, he could potentially return, though he did not know how much use he would be to the clan. He constantly wandered, and he was hardly a warrior. Perhaps it was better to live alone and still visit whenever he could.

As he approached the border, the champagne-eyed youth found himself subconsciously and uncontrollably reconsidering again and again. Instead of listening to the proverbial voices of his head and heart (not to mention that illogical voice which came from who knew where), he ignored all and pushed through with his final decision. Faolin was important to him and he needed to know first hand that she was all right. He felt nothing else should matter more than that, including absurd insecurity. Jesile edged along the border to find a location where Faolin's scent was most noticeable and rooted himself to the ground. He was prepared to wait as long as he needed, and prepared to skirt around any obstacles necessary until he could see his sister once again, face-to-face.
