Word Count: 400!

Shanta had turned and made her way towards the edge of the forest, though this time her quick pace had slowed. Her thoughts were completely muddled as she played her future in Aniwaya in her head, she didn't have many friends in her version. That wasn't why she came here, she had come here to get rid of the loneliness, to never be without another. She had always been a happy person, making new friends easily. But now? No, her fear of being rejected and having people ripped away from her kept her from her goals. She was trying her best, she had made three friends, but she had been here a month. Two of her friends were just pups, the other was someone she had only been helping and had talked to a bit. Shanta wanted to be popular, someone who others wanted to see and be with. She had just barely reached the woods when something on the ground caught her eye. She crouched down and picked it up, it was a crystal, Amethyst if she could remember correctly. She wondered how it could have got there, but she put it in her bag anyways.

Shanta rose again, about to take back to her journey, but she saw another figure coming towards her, already very near. She must have been deep in thought, she hadn't even noticed the new she-wolf. The wolf was young, barely a Sedali, which was a younger adult. Shanta had took some time to learn the different Ranks and their duties. She could tell that this young one had already changed before, there was something about her that was just different than a pup who has yet to change. The young she wolf asked Shanta a question. Shanta had been asked this question a lot, "are you new?" She should really get out more and make herself known. "Well not extremely new, I came to Aniwaya about a month ago." she informed her kindly. "Mind me asking, who might you be?" She said in a respectful curious voice. She had glimpsed her in the town hall before, but she had yet to talk to her. She could tell that this girl was one of a respectful family, one where morals and etiquette is taught. Maybe this would be her companion for today? "Where are you going?" she asked. She would enjoy having company today.
