The unfamiliar patterns in her accent caused blonde ears to twitch slightly, but it was the only visual reaction the woman was met with as she spoke. She said she was uncertain, as was he, though he was becoming accustomed with this way of life. He quietly fought against settling in his new home, but perhaps his mind unconsciously wished for a place where he could settle down without forever vivid thoughts of flying away from this place. He could turn away and leave this place forever if he so wished; no one would keep him back. No ties were too thick to be cut off. He had already taken the largest step and lost his family’s love.

She spoke of another home, so perhaps she felt the same way he had. He had come here because accepted the consequence of his actions. What was her excuse for being here? Perhaps the words she spoke should have been recognized by the young boy, but he knew very little about his own blood. Her name, however, was familiar ears slightly too large for a pure blooded wolf. In his veins ran the muddle essence of Kimaris. Perhaps they were kin, but past actions had already established how little family truly meant to the young male.

”Itachi Lykoi,” he answered, for once offering the surname that did not rightfully belong to him anymore. But his blood had not changed, and he saw little reason to change his name to something less inappropriate. In the end it was only a name, and it did not matter. Perhaps he did not need one at all, but he went along with the name that had been given to him shortly after his birth; Itachi Lawliet Lykoi.
