Gasping as he pulled himself out, drawing more blood. She closed her eyes and let him do his thing, nodding when he spoke. There was an odd tingling sensation and then numbness. Everything would be okay, right?
'A bit' she murmured, patting the bed beside her to singnal the fact she wanted him close. 'Will it kill them?' Wishful thinking she supposed, but it was a sensible question, her tone didn't betray her undecidedness about the whole event. It wasn't said in a particularly caring way, nor was it uttered in malice. All the better since she had no idea what to do.
