The boy next to him, staring with intense curiosity, was a strange sort. King wasn't used to such nosy or prying wolves, especially since all the ones he knew, or used to know, knew their place. Nothing ever had to be exchanged between warriors except silence and a genuine respect for the others' strength. And yet the stranger's imploring was rather flattering, though Viking would never admit it aloud.

King struck the weapon again a couple more times, letting the silence between the two figures in the common room be broken by the loud metal ringing against the cavern walls. His shoulders lit by the torchlight rolled as Viking stood up straight again, lifting the weapon towards the nearest light. From every angle the large warrior could see the weapon's brilliance, quite possibly the greatest gift his father could have given him aside from the bone colored male's existence.

The boy's question slightly threw the one-eyed warrior off, as he looked at the other through heavyset brows. What did Viking look like, a pupsitter? A healer? Still, he wasn't about to get annoyed by the inquisitive nature of the young wolf, and the helmeted warrior nodded sternly. "Yes." Gaze returned to his axe, which he set down and inspected at eye level. Inwardly the bone male was curious, too, as to what profession the boy chose, but the warrior's customs kept him quiet and to keep questions to himself. Gripping the handle of his weapon, the giant rose to stand, itching to test out the bite of his blade.
