Word Count → 300 :: It would be cool if someone who knows about Harlowe could show up, since Clover doesn't know what's up with him. But really, anyone who is awesome is welcome. XD Clover is lonely and needs some company. Wink

There was a fresh blanket of snow to which Clover could merely shake her head. Her faith in Mother Earth had been shaken in the last couple months and this persist winter weather only aided to fuel her dismay. It was April now and Clover fully expected to see a rich array of colors blossoming, along with the return of the wild life she so dearly loved. But for whatever reason, it seemed as if Mother Earth wanted to cling to the cold, dark months of winter. Clover was growing tired of it, and as a result her faith in the wisdom of Mother Earth was wavering. The flower child felt lost.

She had left the territory of Inferni early in the morning, the sun yet rising over the grayscale horizon. A fresh blanket of white littered the ground, and the sky above was a ghastly grey. Clover felt trapped – a fluttering in her chest arising that told her that she needed to get away from this place before she went crazy. It had taken no time at all to realize what she needed, and so the girl had gone to Daisy and left the coyote clan behind for now. Her heart was heavy there, and she wanted merely to set it free.

The day was quiet and the only sounds to fill the air was the dull crunching of her horse’s steps in the snow and their quiet breathing. Everything else was lost on Clover as she let herself drift off into the expanses of her mind. Like usual, the girl held a joint loosely between her slender fingers, raising it in intervals to her mouth so that she could take hearty inhalations of the sweetly perfumed smoke. Though while the two traveled she did not think once of the boy, Clover finally realized where she had led the pair to. It was here, at the edge of the mountain, where she had found those comforting icy blue to replace the jade that had caused fissures in her chest. Was her heart trying to tell her that she was looking for his comfort yet again today?

The fingers of her free hand wound into Daisy’s mane, and the girl guided the horse around the edge of the borders so clearly marked. She would not make the mistake to trespass onto lands she wasn’t a part of. Still, the girl silently commanded Daisy to stop, and Clover looked on with longing eyes. For today, she didn’t want to be Clover Love Lykoi. Today the girl simply wanted to be free to roam where she pleased and be free from the worries of her life. The girl simply wanted to feel alive.
