Word Count → 302 :: Thanks for joining! Big Grin

Though her fingers had been wound tightly in Daisy’s mane, they loosened now as she looked on longingly. There was a small part of her that hoped she would be greeted by those icy blue eyes, and yet still another part that longed to see jade. Sure, he had not quite returned the affection Clover so desperately wished to share, and she had been hurt by that, but she could not get over those eyes. The male unknowingly had somewhat of a hold over Clover, and it would not vanish until the girl set her eyes on someone new - someone actually obtainable.

The sound of approaching steps alerted the girl and straw gold eyes widened as they awaited the arrival of the beast. Though she knew it to be the sound of a trotting horse, there was no doubt in her mind that there would be a Luperci upon the animal’s back. Clover braced herself, keeping the joint between her teeth but holding her breath, only to discover that neither jade nor icy blue had arrived. Instead, intense, fiery orange greeted her and they communicated disdain.

The sharp tone of his words caught Clover off guard, and she stumbled to find a response. "Oh, um, I.. I was just looking for someone." An uneasy feeling settled into the air, and Daisy stamped a foot impatiently. The flower child’s fingers combed through the mare’s mane in attempts to soothe her. "Just visiting, is all," she clarified. She hadn’t really known what she was doing, but feared if she did not provide a satisfactory explanation, she might be accused for spying or some other task on behalf of Inferni. As it was, Clover could care less about the politics of her clan. "Harlowe," she said then, solidifying her excuse. "I heard he was here."

OOC Ending: Larkspur very bluntly explains that Harlowe is dead. He further goes on to tell her that Anathema hasn't been friendly to coyotes in the past and it would be a good idea for her to leave, which she does.
