Anathema. It was a place that he would visit often but now he was living here. He wasn't exactly sure how he felt about it. He had to reset up his den, but with changes. He had lost his own private water source. Not to mention that he was sharing the space. Sure, he had been sharing before but only after it had been established as his own for quite some time. This was a space having to be recreated with another. And this other didn't share some of the same beliefs as himself. It had taken her a bit to even be open to touch. That was something Ouija had no idea how to deal with. He hadn't been used to not being allowed to freely touch.

He had left her to do her own thing while he did his. He had to remake himself here. Had to start all over and work himself into the ranks. He had to get used to a new set of habits. He didn't have an area set up to work in any longer. He would end up having to remedy that. He couldn't stand not having something to busy himself with. Though for now remaking the runes and setting up the candles just right had been keeping him busy inside of the den.

For now he was outside though. He had headed down to the coast in order to wash up in the water there. But then some forms dotted on rocky outcroppings had drawn his attention. So of course he had to find out what they were. To his surprise they were creatures like the one that he had found once before. The coats weren't the pristine white color of the ones that he had found before but the body shape was the same. Even so, the spotted pelt of this one was intriguing all on its own.

It was after a struggle that he managed to secure a harbor seal pup and return to shore with it. Once they had gotten into the water the animals proved to be quite quick and agile. It was only out of sheer luck, and many failed attempts, that he had managed to get one. Of course once he got it to shore there was the daunting task of finding a place where he could sit undisturbed and skin it. The pelt was simply too beautiful to lose.

Of course by the time he had finished with the careful removal it was past night fall. But that didn't make him feel inspired to return to the caves yet. No, instead he remained in the hills by the small fire that he had started. He laid back and stared up at the starlit sky. The night was quite lovely even if he was enjoying it alone. But he didn't feel the loneliness. Or maybe that was the earlier ingested mushrooms that made the seal talk so he didn't feel alone.

He giggled a bit as he sat up to do what the skinned seal had said, having to place the smaller pelt on his head to wear it and let it drape down the back of his neck as it if were his own. Or courses that wasn't the only thing there was to wear. There was still the rest of the carcass, as well as the organs to take from it. After all what better talisman was there to place about ones neck than the intestines? Or the lungs that had been removed to place on either hand so that he could pretend to have flippers. It was all a silly, childlike, drug induced game.

The male clapped his "flippers" together and barked. Of course the sharp sound has an unexpected surprise. He barked again and the flash of color color returned for a brief period of time, only as long as the sound lasted. He closed his eyes and howled, the colors dancing up and down in flowing spikes as the pitched changed. In this haze of his he had no idea what his calls may be perceived as to others. Instead he was just having fun in this new world of audio induced color.
