Siku was not one to follow others around, nor was she the clingy type. However the young Dahlian had woken once again to find Saul had up and left early again. Snow white face lowering to her paws once more, Siku considered going back to sleep sullenly. She was in a lazy mood lately, as out of character as it seemed, and had little desire to leave the borders. Golden eyes slid closed again, and a soft sigh escaped her lips. Dahlia was not the same. As the troubled soul drifted back into a dreamy state, thoughts rolled about in her mind and urged her to wake. How was little Wretch? Siku had barely any medical knowledge, and had to trust Saul's judgement when he told her that the child would be okay. He seemed to know exactly what he was doing, and it largely comforted Siku as the days progressed. He was always right, and the young one did seem to be getting much better.

Though she tried to go back to sleep, Siku could not. There was too much to think about, to question. Also, the she-wolf found that she kind of missed her companion. With a sigh of reluctance, the woman lifted herself from the warm floor and out the door to seek out Saul. First poking her head through the door to check on Wretch, golden eyes softened as they studied the sleeping child. She lingered there a moment, heart softening at the sight. Siku had not yet even spoken to the girl, and yet she was becoming fond of the puppy and her constant presence. Satisfied with what she saw, the she-wolf crept away feeling a little better.

It did not take long for Siku to figure out where her room mate had run off too. His scent was a part of her own, now. Next to Nayru's it was the strongest. He had ventured east, the same direction they went in the day they first explored together. As Siku ran, she picked up speed effortlessly. Her toned legs did not even seem to touch the ground as she traveled. She tried her best to blank her mind as well, focusing on the wind in her face and the scent she now traced. Since Conor left and she spoke to Nayru, Siku had neglected hunting, running, patrolling, exploring.. even her best friend. Siku could not recall the last time they had a meaningful conversation. It was her own fault of course, for Saul did try to comfort her and ease their worries. He told her they would be all right, but she saw in his own eyes that it was not set in stone. They were both lost. Wretch was the only reason they had exchanged words in the past few days, though Siku didn't even realize. Perhaps it was why she ran to him, now. It had been too long.

Siku had no trouble finding her way inside the walled garden, tracking Saul's scent to the tunnel he had to find himself. The whole atmosphere reminded Siku of Nayru and her greenhouse, and guilt ate away at the soft hearted wolf. She had been hiding from everyone and everything lately. Time seemed to stop, but only for Siku. The growing life around her indicated that summer was still well on it's way. A loud bark of greeting pierced the silence as she continued forward, and not too long after golden eyes settled on the man she sought after. " Saul," She cooed softly, seeing him before he saw her. He looked thoughtful, and peaceful. They seemed to be encased in their own world now, the feeling strange but pleasant to the woman as she smiled unconsciously. Light shivers ran through Siku's body as she waited for Saul to turn around, and she fought the urge to go to him. Since Conor left the emerald eyed man was not the same. It was hard for all of them, and all she wanted to do was escape into his touch. "I've missed you." The words were genuine and soft, for the white woman meant them more than she even realized.
