The girl was surprised to say the least. Another wolf who spoke Italian and cooked their meat in a desolate place like this? Impossible. Well at least, to her it was. But it had happened, and she looked up at the male, her face almost childlike, and her expression one of innocence.
"Oh! Matteo è un bellissimo nome. Grazie. Il piacere è mio." The girl stepped a little closer to the male, careful not to intrude into his personal bubble. Examining him more closely, she felt a painful stab of jealousy. He had clothes, something she had been longing for for months, and he was an albino. When she was little she had often wished that she had pure white fur and pink eyes. But she didn't. She was pretty, even she acknowledged that, with her large blue eyes and her rusty reddish fur. But being pretty in her 'Spanish' way wasn't exactly what she wanted.
She sat down again, careful not to sit on her hair. Hesitating for a moment, she motioned for the male to sit down and take the first bite. It was simply one of the things she had been forced to learn as a princess, and later a queen. "Sono nuovo qui. Sono sorpreso che quasi nessuno qui i cuochi delle loro carni."
One thing that surprised her was that the male was timid. Most Italians, she had noticed from being one herself, were loud and boisterous. She had been one of the quieter children, and later a soft-spoken, kind, antisocial queen. Maybe that was why she could never rule a society properly. She just wasn't made for it. Smiling the exotic, mysterious smile that the ancient Roman statue of Venus was depicted with, she said, "Cosa ti ha portato qui?"
