He contemplated finding the warrior girl again.

As heavy steps were taken back towards the underground clan, there were two things the giant carried this day: His axe, and a dark blue bottle of Vodka. The morning sun found the giant at the foot of the mountain, doing what he did best. Only this time, he took the hard alcohol with him in hopes that it would suppress his burning thoughts of the chocolate female.

Occasionally, he would wander to the base of the mountain, and though nothing physically prevented him from traveling out further, Viking was at war in his own mind. It had been a while since he saw Miri, the fighter he met near the very place he trained that morning, and there were times when the giant wandered out to the location again, with secret hopes to see her.

But time and time again, she never showed her face. This bothered the foreign warrior, and yet he beat himself up attempting to get her out of his head. What did it matter if she never wanted to see him again? Maybe she succeeded in what she wanted to do back at her pack, or maybe she failed and paid for it with her life. None of this should have mattered to King, and yet it did.

As the colossal god emerged over the hill, nearing the cave entrance, the afternoon light shone in on the half-filled bottle that sloshed about, his own footing almost equal to the swirling liquid. It was only until he was feet from the mouth of the mountain wall when he noticed a pair of wolves lining the entryway. For a second the giant stood still, though his vision was already beginning to swim with the effects of drink, inhaling the scents of something.. strange. The acrid smoke came from the pair, but Viking wasn't one to bother to ask questions - let alone try and push his way through. Slowly, he stumbled over to the right, to find another way into the caves.
