Her jacket hadn't been fitting as well as it usually did, and the doggish woman sighed as she cast it to the side. She hadn't wanted to accept the fact that she was going to be a mother whether she liked it or not. The ill fit to her favorite coat was only more proof of the future. Dammit. She couldn't blame Mars like she wanted to, though she might be able to give some of her anger to Bartholomew; after all, he'd been there in the end, even if he hadn't started it. Everything was so wrong. She'd come to 'Souls for Mars, but she hadn't wanted to have a family with anyone. Now there wasn't much of a choice.
As she heard the voice of her live-in lover, a sense of panic set in on her mind. They hadn't had the moments necessary for the man to find out about the predicament they were in, and she wasn't too eager to tell him; Mars wasn't as close to Krystalle as his secondary self. Of course he wanted something horrible from her. Usually, she wouldn't have minded. "Really can', Mars, 'cause I ain' feelin' okay." Her arms crossed under her rather ample bosom and she kept her back to the bi-colored male as he came into the room. The distension of her stomach would certainly give her away. She didn't need the stress.
"What happened to our buckets?" she asked, changing the subject to something less interesting, as she was dying to hear what sort of outfit Mars was making now. At first, she hadn't noticed the missing water, but it was certainly confusing when she did. Mars was the one who handled their drinking situation. She didn't usually ask questions. Anything to keep him from prying.
