She just sat there and stared at his as he slowly but surely answered her questions and concerns. She dropped her head down sadly as he'd moved away, the last words he'd said ringing in her ears. After a moment when his footsteps were fading she raised her head, a distant sadness in her eyes as she whispered. "I am too.." Turning to look back at the stream before her she stook one step then another before settling down in the spot her cousin had rested moments before, the ground still warm and his scent clinging to the air.
Dropping her head down to her forelegs she stared into the slow moving water and wondered for a second if anyone would miss her when she was gone. Within moments she closed her eyes and just listened to the world around her softly fading.
