The boy shrugged after he had dusted off himself, glancing at the man, who seemed displeased that he had been insulted. It had been a light one, weak at best, so Silvano was not sure why the man suddenly seemed much colder than before. The young man was not too peeved but it did dishearten him that already he had been judged so harshly, but hopefully he had not. Why did everyone seem to meet him at a bad time in his life? And this one had taken so small a joke so seriously it seemed. Even the way the other man sized him up made him nervous and self conscious. It was not the best feeling. Had he done something so wrong?

"Sorry," he apologized meekly, not sure it was really all that necessary here. Whatever kept the man from turning even icier and angrier at the Sadira youth. Silvano noticed that the stranger was a tad shorter than he. Not surprising considering how tall his father, Kansas, was, even though his infamous mother was shorter, and of shorter wolf descent at that. He was more heavily dressed, this stranger, though it was not nearly as rag-tag as the young adult had occasionally seen. Silvano himself had a preference for slick jackets, usually leather, though they were hard to find; the Dreamer had only one such jacket.

The other man seemed displeased, but Silvano did not back down. A knight did not stand down or flinch, and his family, his pack, was filled with dreamers and knights and dreamer knights. "Didn't say that," he countered gently, thinking he could stop this conversation from heading somewhere awful. "I didn't tell you to do anything," he added plainly, shrugging, nonchalant. Whatever the man said, he could not have been more wrong; Silvano did not want him to do anything. Hell, he did not even know him. Honestly.
