Morning has broken

Umbra hadn't gone long before the scent of a female caught his attention, and soon he could see her as well. And he gave a mental sigh. Not again. Still he smiled amiably at the creature and came a little closer, not showing how her shape made his skin crawl. "Good morning," he replied lightheartedly. "And what's a fine lady such as you doing here?" Really, he amazed himself sometimes.

Seeing as she already was sitting, Umbra sat down as well. "Rain isn't always a bad thing," he commented further. Indeed, Umbra had always liked the rain. It seemed to wash away impurities and past mistakes, and even when it was cold it made him smile.

Was it so hard to find a wolf around these parts? You know, a real wolf. Not these... unnatural things. Really, walking on two legs, front paws twisted and contorted beyond recognition, and two large lumps on her chest (or belly? Umbra had a hard time figuring out which it was)... How could any of that be healthy? Yet, Umbra couldn't help looking the stranger over, trying to figure out how her body was built. Maybe it wasn't that strange; not only was it the first time he'd ever come across a Luperci in this shape, but freak shows have always drawn a crowd and while Umbra was a wolf, he was no exception to the rule.
"Speech."
