Lady on the Water

I am a horrible person, who in fact loves you all muchly ><

The days went by strangely now for the pure white Dahlian. Sometimes they would be a blur, other times the seconds would slide by so slowly. Often the woman would wonder where their former alpha had gone off to. It seemed the past would always be there to plague her. First her mother, now Conor. Would the souls in her life always be up and out of her life like the wind? As the distressed woman pondered, she stared into the water that was their spring. Their meaning herself, Saul, and Wretch. Saul. Gold clashed with gold as she stared intensely, the motionless water sending back her reflection. The cinnamon eared wolf would not leave her alone, his heart was too kind and their bond was too strong. She could sense it. Then there was Nayru, and Wretch. Both extensions of her family now, just like every other pack member but more. Nayru was the Alpha, now. Not just a friend. Luckily, Siku could not think of anyone else she'd rather be in charge. There was a calm awareness about Nayru that set her at ease. As for little Wretch, a little string tugged in her heart and the woman sighed at her reflection. The child was angelic like in her nature, but Siku had yet to speak with the young soul.

Almost asleep in her thoughtful state of mind, eyes snapped open and ears shot upwards as the strangest yet most familiar sound flooded all of Dahlia. "Come to me, now" The petite she-wolf took a moment to wake up, stretching as she watched Saul and Wretch already on their way. She made no move to follow directly behind, for some reason holding back and waiting a moment. The anti social nature Siku had been becoming used to was really not healthy, yet still she was like a puppet to her emotions. In the state of confusion their pack had been in recently, Siku could only hide and think and hurt. However as Nayru's howl echoed, the woman lifted herself from the ground with reason. She may hide from her duties and her best friend, but now her Alpha had called and her instinct drove her to comply. It did not take long for the slender she-wolf to reach the destination, the source of the call. Siku was still strong and swift despite her recently apathetic nature. Not as fast as some others though, Golden eyes meeting many other sets of eyes as Siku entered the group of wolves.

"Sorry for the delay." Was all she would say, moving smoothly to plant herself next to her ever constant companion. 'Saul'. Siku glanced up at her friend, not needing to utter his name aloud in order to make her presence known. It was as if they could sense each others gaze. No greeting needed, the white woman still licked his shoulder in hello before turning her head to face their leader. The others, the many strangers that also answered the call, she would ignore for now. They would become familiar over time anyway, living in the same pack it was inevitable. They all needed each other.
