A stabbing pain in his shoulder, followed by a series of piercing screams awoke the male from his nap. Sleep filled eyes opened slowly, taking a moment to adjust to the light, before scanning the area below hi. A white, scantly dressed female stood near his location; which explained what had upset Bey. Turning to the bird, he stroked it’s head, thanking the normally useless creature for waking him.

Shuffling to the edge of the branch, he hoped down to one of the lower ones, before completely throwing himself out of the tree. Landing with a loud thump, he suddenly remember Bey and glanced to see if the bird had managed to stay glued to his shoulder; surprisingly, the white pest had managed to hang on, but looked incredibly annoyed.

Ignoring Beyaz’s evil, scolding eyes; he turned to the female, a hand going to the handle of his Katana. Glaring down at the white intruder, he looked over her for weapons or anything she may have been able to use against him. Satisfied that she was not a major threat, he proceeded to questioning her.

“This is Anathema territory, for what reason do you approach our borders” he asked, his voice reflecting exactly how pleased he was to be in the situation. Despite his status as a Dasa, he had not encountered many along the borders; the few he had were uninformed about the formation of Anathema and went on their way, whilst others had a reason for being there. But what was this female’s purpose?
