Sorry for the pure suck in this post. Hope it's not to bad?

It was difficult to tell if the yearning for wandering came from the boy's need to become his own person.. Or if it was just some thing he enjoyed. Him and his father hadn't really discussed his boundaries, but then again, he was on bed rest. Range didn't really know why, nor did he bother to ask. But he knew he was injured. Already seeing that he was stressed out as it is, the wolf decided not to pester him about it.

Range was quite proud of himself. He had managed to limit himself to this particular area, which in his mind, meant he was creating boundaries for himself. "Either that.. Or I just haven't run out of things to do here yet." The boy shrugged off his thoughts, deciding to focus on his surroundings instead. He put his nose the ground, sniffing around at a pile of leafs nearby. Each one of the scents seemed to tell a story, and after picking up one, he could try and guess at why that creature had been here. This particular one was that of a squirrel. "Easy." He said a loud, rolling his eyes in a human-like manner. They weren't very interesting creatures.. Or at least from what Range had seen.

That was one of cons that came with exploring alone. He had time to watch things, without worrying about keeping another person entertained. He had a hard time taking a liking to people. The boy trotted over to a small stream, lowering his head and taking a few laps at the water. Hardly feeling replenished, he raised himself again- Looking around for the sign of any life. Finding that there was none, he plunged himself into the small body of water- Rolling and splashing around to get it to coat his entire body. Occasionally, he would release a few small yips. One demonstrating that he thought of this as good fun.
