The Seneschal had risen early, as was his habit, but he had not gone directly to the stables. With his children growing and becoming ever more mischievous the father stuck close to home until Princess was awake and able to look after them. Haven had taken his sword and walked a few feet away from the porch of the little seaside house to practice his swings and stances. Aside from patrolling the lands, keeping himself trained and in shape was his top priority when it came to his duties towards the pack. Even if Cour des Miracles was a peaceful place, one could never say when things might change and he needed to be prepared in case trouble ever came to their home.
Clad only in his jeans the Knight spread his feet wide and held the broadsword with both hands evenly above his head and held the pose for some moments before switching to a different position. Balance was integral. One needed to be able to keep their footing in combat else it could easily spell demise. The Aatte had come perilously close to such an end when he had found the white stranger and he had been working on his balance ever since.
His white ear twitched as he thought he heard some thud from inside the house, but paid it no mind. Surely it was just someone fiddling around. But when that was soon followed by a much large crash his concentration broke as he looked intently back towards the house. Haven stabbed Vowkeeper into the ground before he jogged back to the house and opened the front door in a flurry. The sight that met his eyes was nothing short of comical, but the look that painted his face was stern as a frown turned down the corners of his lips and brows knit together. "Robin, let go of the bookshelf." Fatherly tone brooked no argument and his jade eyes trained upon her baby blues.
