Just as the situation seemed hopeless, the one thing that could loosen the death-clamp Robin's jaws had on the bookshelf walked through the door: Daddy. In all fairness, Mommy probably could have done it too, but this was certainly the quickest solution for this Daddy's girl. Haven wouldn't have even had to say anything and she would have let go, the moment his voice rang into the room her teeth parted from the shelf and the girl was loose, now just held up by her Uncle's hands.

As soon as she was free of the shelf she threw her weight towards Alder, trying to force him to cradle her instead of put her down; innocent little princess. She craned her neck and peered over her should at Haven, smiling a floppy-tongued smile at her daddy.

“It was Uncle Alder's idea, Daddy.” She said with a giggle in her voice. It was obvious by the look on her face that the girl was joking and not really trying to pass off the lie. Then, to Alder, “Will you get me, The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood?”

She pawed and nipped at her Uncle's face before her head lolled back again to look at her father, and she grinned. “Is mommy rich? Will you take me to Sherwood Forest?”
