Maybe this should be marked mature, lotsa talk about weed. >> WC: 506

A wagging tail greeted her as she interrupted the young boy's meal. A smile spread on her dazed face and she slowly let herself down from the horse's back, slipping carefully to the ground and giving the stallion and firm, appreciative pat and a signal that he could roam freely, so long as he stayed near.

The four-legged ivory stranger rose to a seated position, and Sage gave a small bow of her head as a greeting as he confirmed her thought. He was in fact the one that had called, and Sage wondered now what it had really been a call for. The white wolf had already eaten most of the fish that he'd caught. Maybe he just wanted company; something that Sage would gladly oblige.

"Well, fish will always try to wiggle away, won't they..." she said as her sun-colored eyes drifted to the river, watching as several fish swam by as she spoke. "Just be careful not to find the ones with barbs... now that really hurts," she giggled, moving closer to the waters edge as she took another puff of the joint, exhaling towards the fish below with a grin.

The young boy's voice came quickly again, wondering not surprisingly about the lovely substance between her thin fingers. With a delicate, slow turn towards him, her brows raised only slightly. "Oh, this, love?" she asked matter-of-factly, holding up the cigarette. Sage's head tilted lazily, waves of chocolate hair resting over her own shoulder. "It's a cigarette of marijuana," she explained. "Haven't you heard of it?" Sage wondered if perhaps he hadn't, and she cast yellow eyes down upon it before inhaling again. "It's a plant, you see. It's very natural, and very relaxing." Her gaze flicked back to the young man. "Would you like to try it?" she asked as she extended her arm in offering, always happy to share.

She'd come to know a fair bit about the drug over the years, including the best ways to grow it, the tastiest strains, and the most delicious ways to imbibe it. It hadn't been her only project, though; she'd done much else, too. She'd been studying various other plants, too, including cotton and tobacco. Currently she had projects for both ongoing in Inferni's greenhouse. Perhaps one day she'd go back to being more than lazy and study them again. Wasn't she supposed to be here making the place better, anyways?
