Sage straightened and watched intently as the boy took his first hit of the drug. A grin spread across her face as she watched his. She took the roach back, quickly inhaling it's last dregs before tossing it sadly to the ground. It's flame quickly went out while she watched. She stood now, giggling lightly at his reaction. He didn't cough, which was impressive considering how strong her home grown stuff was.
The Optio took a step back as her yellow eyes lilted, watching her companion. He received the drug well, and seemed to like it. Her smile widened. "Yes, it's quite nice," she muttered as she turned away, immediately wishing she had another joint in her hands. She did have more with her, but her urge to share now was waning.
"So, stranger," she started, her head turning back down to the four-legged canine. "where did you come from, why are you all alone?" Despite his larger size, she knew his young age would do more harm than good if any danger came to him. Young wolves so close to Inferni did not often carry much common sense; after all, it should be well known that most of them were dangerous. Sage may have been a tolerant girl, but her fellows were not often so kind.
