Caesar trotted with heavy steps on the rocky ground, the sheep herd, tiny little wool balls in comparison to the massive horse, following in oblivious eager. Bleats and snorts, already familiar to the wolf riding the shire horse, soothed his soul. That calm life actually suited the Russian, though he would never forget his later 6 years of life in the forever wintery lands of North Russia as a well-known and respected Captain. Those years molded him this way, and that was the strategical and always alert mind, and a muscular body, built for the art of war.

The black and white horse beneath him shook his pure white mane back and forth, as if demanding the master's attention. Caesar was naturally stubborn and kind of a trouble-maker, but after the intense trainning of the past weeks, Liev managed to crack that nut, and they now had quite a secure relation of rider and mount. The stallion was also awfully intelligent, and it was quite sensitive to things that aren't on their routine. The grayish male looked around, searching for anything out of the ordinary, but saw nothing. Yet, the horse still was uneasy with something.

They brought the sheep back to the fences and made sure they were all inside. As they entered the open gate, the Anzu counted them. Unfortunately, one was missing. And even more unfortunately, after remaking the counting two times, one was still missing. The sheperd frowned at that. He hated when they lost their way, but luckily he had his nose to help out on those cases. With a few entle kicks, he moved the horse away from the pastures. They were still a work in progress, btu there were enough pens for most of the pack's livestock.

The male sped the horse up to a small race. If the darn thick-head horse got at it, it would take forever to get him to stop. When he scented the lost sheep's trac, a gentle, feminine howl echoed through the lands, startling the big equine lightly. Luckily, it came from the same direction to where the ewe have strayed off. Both males climbed down the elevated rocky grounds and went ot meet the stranger. Liev was in Anathema long enough to know that howl didn't belong to any of its members.

Once in the borders, the smell of the newcomer became noticable, but the Russian still couldn't reconize it. A stranger it was, indeed. He took off his sheperd staff from its holster on the saddle. It was a long, rather crude wooden pole with a round knot on one of the tips. He could easily use it to guide the herds around, as well as beating up silly predators that tried to make a snack out of his animals.

The woman came into his view. The white sheep and wolf merged together in one white blur, but then he reconized their forms. She was fairly pretty and young, with a pure white pelt and big blue eyes. The female was also holding the stray sheep close, cuddling it and calming it. He stopped the horse a yard or two away from her. "I'm Liev Morozov, from Anathema. State your business, ma'am." He spoke solemnly, purple eyes wamr and yet serious, somehow.
