She spoke again, and his purple gaze rested on the horse's dark brown almond eyes, and he could tell it was laughing inside at the small prank. "His name is Caesar, in honor of the old human leaders of good old Russia, the Czars, an attempt to spell Cesar, the Emperors of the Roman Empire." He explained as if it was the most trivial thing possible, but deep within, he knew she had absolutely no idea of what he was talking about. Yet, he couldn't help. No one ever said knowledge brought happiness.
"And he belongs to the Shire Horse bred, selected by humans to work on heavy duties, like pulling chariots and the like. And for those tasks, they were bred to be bigger and stronger than regular horses." He explained, only hoping she knew what a chariot was.
