Oversized puppy paws padded over the soft ground. Tripping over the new fresh tufts of grass she smiled broadly, happy at being alone for once. It seemed that she was mostly stuck with either her parents or her siblings. Not that she didn't love them. She did! But it was just too dependant for the little woman. Humming as she trotted along, Aleu considered what profession she would take up in her tribe. The princess frowned, nothing sounded right. Most of them sounded icky to the little girl. She supposed that she would feel different as an adult but right no she didn't have to worry.
Tiny puppy teeth clung tightly to her dress up crown. She held it at the very top so that the feather could not make her sneeze. She was excited for when she could shift, because then she could make her hair pretty like her mommy's! All this was very exciting to the young girl who was more than happy enough to dress up while she waited. The crown was her most treasured object. Sometimes she said that she loved it even more than her brothers, though it was usually a little white puppy lie. She would never love an object more than her family, no matter how pretty and shiny the object was.
Everything had been going smoothly on her walk, until she tripped on the silly root at least. Now Aleu was a bit of a drama queen and instead of shaking it off like one of her brothers, after landing in a muddy puddle then little princess started to cry. 'MOMMA!!!'
