To the small girl, it was almost as if falling in a muddy puddle was the end of the world. Although her mother's soft lick did soften the blow a little. But for Aleu it was still a nasty shock, she was a little princess who didn't like to get dirty. Blue (hinted every so lightly with green) eyes sailing up to her mother's face, tears, welling up she let out a soft high pitched whine and rose to her puppy paws. If she had looked down, she would have only seen that the puddle was only small, barely larger than the girl pup herself. Chest rising and failing clearly only just getting over the panic, the girl spoke in her soft tone, barely a whisper, 'But Momma, I...I don't like mud'. She gazed down at her soaked body and shivered. Doing as she was told she swept a chubby paw across the cream patches under her eyes, sadly this only cause more mud to be transfered to her sweet face. She didn't like the feeling, it was icky and slimy.
Aleu would quite possibly always be like that. Although she could be easily persuaded to join in with her brother's rough housing and muddy games, when she did it was with a permanent puppy frown plastered onto her face. It was another thing, apart from her pelt, that made her feel different. Sometimes it made her feel like she was adopted, or that herself and Ayasha were switched at birth. The latter one was impossible, though the princess's young mind could phantom that idea. And any of her quries were quickly dismissed by her parents and older pack members.
