april 29th! Weee! Feel free to include Noah if you’d like! 458.

After leaving Crimson Dreams the sack the fairy queen had carried from land to land was much less heavy, but still trinkets and bottles and a book bumped together as she walked. All the meetings thus far had gone well enough. Perhaps they could have gone better but none of them were anything to get discouraged over. Certainly her visits had done more good than harm, and Nayru felt accomplished. Soon enough she would come to her last stop and then be free to return to Dahlia de Mai. The thoughts of her own home reminded her how much she wished to rest, check on the pack and refill the brown bag that she brought with her from pack to pack. As much as the two toned woman looked forward to returning home, not having slept in her own home for the last three nights, she wasn’t quite finished with the task at hand and did not dwell long on thoughts of the flowered lands.

As well as all the other meetings had gone Nayru felt a slight hesitance at this one. With the three previous packs she had known at least one member or another who called that place home, so even if the leaders hadn’t been welcoming there was at least one friendly face she could call out to. Yet Cour des Miracles was a mystery to her, despite it’s close proximity to her own pack lands. Always she had known it was there, south of her own home, and once she had even led the male warrior Noss towards it’s borders. For all this and all her wanderings in her youth the Dahlian alpha had never ventured there herself. It was for this reason that this meeting was perhaps more important than the others. Establishing contact was the first step, and knowing this Nayru took a deep breath and banished any lingering doubt as neared the invisible boundary.

The day was still young, not even noon, when the cow patterned girl arrived there. Despite the freshness of the day Nayru felt worn down, the sky was overcast, nearly a sheet of white and the lack of sunshine did not help her mood. On two slender legs she stood and as before set her sack down at her feet. Centering herself for a moment Nayru breathed out all her uncertainty. When she lifted her head to the sky to let out the call that would summon the nameless leader of Cour des Miracles her voice was confident and controlled. The soft, stoic expression on her face was calm and collected, and it was with this focused awareness, this certainty that she waited for the sound of foot falls or an answering call to reach her ears.
