Saluce watched matching her fascination with him, for her, noticing her coat and the exotic nature it gave her. He wanted to run a hand along it, wondering if it was as soft as it looked. The behemoth found himself inching closer to her, finding the scent about her intoxicating and he knew, for now he was a goner. No it wasn’t love at first site, but it was indeed lust and it seemed to be thick in the air between the two. He gave her a gentle laugh at the comment about the trade. Knowing in the end she got the better end if she would only be able to control the horse.
“Three bottles of wine for a fine horse? No I say you got the better deal, but then again flashing that cute smile of yours could make any man take any deal you offered.” There he went, with the flirting, he couldn’t help it. The look in her mismatched eyes just made him want to misbehave and it felt good for once to feel himself start to loosen up a bit. He had gone on long enough beating himself up for Layla, he needed to let himself live again.
He moved to ask for her hand then having an idea to maybe cool things off a bit. “Would you like me to show you how to handle him better?” the light in his eyes didn’t die out with a chance to take things on a more hands on fashion. “He’s a headstrong horse, you must be firm with him” he added as he awaited her decision.
