the sky above us shoots to kill

Tlantli brings Miqui, but not Citlali. That way, if Fae can't get around to the thread, we're not waiting on a post. She did tell Citlali what was going on, though, so Fae is free to follow. Obviously.
she's a black magic woman
and she's trying to make a devil out of me

Her mouth still tasted of blood and rust, but the pain of her snake-like teeth had faded upon the news that it was time. Golden hands had gathered scant possessions, hallucinogenic herbs locked away in a worn satchel of dark leather and jewelry bound in her belt so as not to jostle about and make nose. It was set firm in her mind, of her own volition, that she would not allow anyone to know she was departing until she was gone. So was her sense of privacy that she hadn't even told Miqui what would be happening until that moment. Her hand found his muscular arm and shook his larger body with a force to wake him from her bed. He groaned complainingly. "Que?" Oh, the poor thing hadn't slept long enough. Tlantli rolled her ruby eyes and adjusted the strap of her satchel across her chest. "Despertarse. Estamos dejando." She turned from him and approached the center of their shared den, glancing into the room of her nephew. Unlike Miqui, she had spoken to Citlali. It was his choice to stay or follow, she would not make him leave the family he had found in the mountains, even if it meant staying with the family he had fled Eterne with.

Miqui rolled out of his bedding and stood with a grunt of exertion. "Dejando? ¿Por qué? Dónde?" Her ears twitched atop her head as she listened to his heavy footfalls. "No hacen preguntas, Miqui." She wasn't in the mood to answer them. Miqui didn't get a choice. He was leaving with her, even if she had to drag him. He seemed to get the message, crossing his arms and scowling an irritated scowl. His small sister merely shook her head.

They crossed the mountains in silence, searching for the handsome devil she had thought upon since their meeting. She was taken with him, yet her contemplations had been his words and not his body. A family. The Family. Her family. And Miqui's, if he would simply shut up and listen to her. The trek was quiet. Tlantli listened, searching for a subtly familiar scent and finding one that was all together memorable. Eris, and her family, and those of Anathema who wanted something more. She approached the group in the same soundless steps that she and her brother had used between the Bay and the Caverns. No smile crossed her features. Fire eyes searched the faces of those present: a beautiful Eternian, the handsome Revlis, fiesty Salvia. The tall, dark man was ignored, for she had no time for the wolves when the future was so bright for her.

Her silence was broken only as she spit to the side, ridding her mouth of the traces of blood that had been seeping from her teeth.
