Have a thread with one of our current NPC Slaves. The slave should be performing some kind of duty, whether specific and personal to your character or for the benefit of Salsola as a whole. Alternatively, thread with another member of Salsola to discuss slavery within Salsola.

During the winter months, the Grey seal gives birth. Young calves are often stranded on the beaches after becoming lost, and make for an easy meal. Sealskin can be used to make waterproof clothing and other items; seal meat is also consumable and would be an interesting diversion from the usual.

Thread with someone of the Associate rank and help them become acclimated to the pack. Your character should welcome them to Salsola and accept them as potential family; however, your character should also be quite firm in establishing the culture and societal expectations of the pack. If there is no one of the Associate rank within the pack, assist a youth of the Bambino rank in learning a new skill or perfecting an old one. If there is no one of the Associate or Bambino rank, have a thread with a slave -- NPC or played.

How about an encounter with something of the supernatural? As per the Supernatural guide on the RP Guide, your character can encounter ghosts and spirits. Have a thread interacting with one of these -- if your character does not believe in the supernatural and cannot see ghosts, you can still do this prompt! It might make for a strange or fun experience for your character to remain ignorant of a spirit if your thread partner's character can see it!

An icy fog has settled over Salsola's territory, coating most of it with a sparkling shine. The air itself seems almost frozen today, though it's not so bitterly cold as to stay inside and miss the scenery outside!

Vedetto Challenge: During a routine check of the various traps situated outside of Salsola's borders, your character finds a Loner caught in one of them. Decide this NPC character's fate based upon their actions.

Various Salsola members have purchased their residences via the Salsola game. Have a thread where your character delivers a gift to their residence. Note that the owner of the residence needn't necessarily be present in the thread; you can have a thread with someone else where your character drops off the item at the residence and simply let the resident canine know via PM about their gift.

Smear your character with some scent-concealing plants and have them visit up on a foreign pack -- check how their preparations are for winter, and evaluate their stores for the coming months. You may want to butter up this potential pack with a small gift, presented under the guise of helping them to prepare.

Help a fellow member ready their den for winter: bring them some blankets, help them dig a wintering den, or even re-build parts of their home.
